A chartered accountant with a legal background, Angeline provides a holistic perspective in building businesses. From building a medical brand from the ground up, to introducing super oils and phytonutrient-based products to the market- She is currently developing the nutrition business for Sime Darby Oils. Her previous experience was in B2B sales of oils and fats solutions to the food industry, covering North America and key accounts.
With over 13 years of experience across multiple industries including Brand Consultancy, F&B, and FMCG, Farhan is formerly the Head of Group Marketing in FGV Holdings Bhd. His role is to oversee the Brand Management, Market Intelligence, Product Development, Customer Experience, and Corporate Compliance teams for local and international markets. FGV produces market leading homegrown brands such as SAJI, ADELA, and SERI PELANGI.
Farhan was formally educated in Melbourne, Australia with a Bachelor of Commerce (Marketing & Finance) and a Master of International Business. In his previous roles within brand and digital agencies, he serviced the likes of Domino’s Pizza, BBC, Maybank, Huawei, Sunway, Volkswagen, Blackmores, UMW Land, and Spirit Aerosystems.
He has also served as a coach and trainer for SMEs under entrepreneurial development programs by MARA, specialising in branding and digital strategies. His areas of interest and expertise include brand development, market expansion, and process improvements.
He is also passionate about food, having started a restaurant called Bumbu Asli at the age of 22, which has been featured across multiple media platforms such as RTM, TV3, NTV7, TV8, Go Asean, and Tonton.
Kristin Veriga has served as Grobest CMO since September 2020. In his 26-year career in marketing and sales, he has taken leading roles across 5 continents, managing operations spanning up to 76 countries for FMCG giants such as Mars, Reckitt Benckiser, Nomad Foods and Arnotts. Before joining Grobest, he was Executive Vice President for Marketing and New Markets at Regal Springs, where he discovered his passion for sustainably feeding the world.
Mr. Veriga graduated from The University of Western Sydney with a Bachelor of Commerce (Marketing) degree.
Philip is a research professional with 15 years’ experience having worked in Europe and Asia. Currently he heads up the regional Asian hub for Kadence.
Equally experienced with quantitative and qualitative research methods, he has worked with some of the biggest brands in the world, on some of their toughest and most strategic questions.
With a BA in Business Studies and an MA in Research & Consultancy, Philip has a strong theoretical background that he has used to grow his career in research. Philip has worked in the UK and has been in Singapore for around 10 years. Having moderated in UK, US, Singapore Philippines, Malaysia, Hong Kong and Australia (whilst viewing groups all over the world) he as a depth of knowledge about what makes consumers tick. In addition, Phil has worked for a number of B2B brands in his time – with a keen focus on understanding the relationships and sales techniques required to illicit growth. In addition to his qualitative capabilities, Phil has a detailed knowledge of quant techniques, running market sizing, pricing and volumetric projects for some of the leading consumer electronics companies in the world.
Philip has spoken at multiple conferences, was instrumental in Kadence winning HR awards in 2015 & 2016, orchestrated the Agency of the Year award wins in between 2017 and 2020 & has co-authored a book on the effective use of workshops in business.
Stephen Co is the founder & CEO of Worth The Health Foods (WTH Foods). WTH Foods is a pioneer plant-based meat startup in the Philippines. The company makes plant-based Filipino pantry favorites, such as corned beef, hot dogs, ground meat, nuggets, using locally-sourced sustainable ingredients.
Before WTH Foods, Stephen founded Nipa Brew Craft Beverages. It operates a microbrewery and taproom in Makati, Philippines. His passions are in entrepreneurship and food innovation. He plans to put up a food innovation center in the future to work on global food security issues.
In 2012, Stephen was awarded the UK Chevening Scholarship to study Masters in Bioscience Enterprise at the University of Cambridge. He obtained his bachelor’s degree in Biology from Ateneo de Manila University, and Masters in Technology Management from the University of the Philippines – Diliman. He used to be a consultant at Hybridigm Consulting, the country’s first biotech consulting firm, and was a part-time faculty at Ateneo de Manila University teaching bioscience enterprise, a course that brings together concepts in business and biotechnology.
In 2018 Stephen participated in the Professional Fellows Program sponsored by the U.S. Department of State. He was a visiting fellow at Rutgers Food Innovation Center in New Jersey, where he gained experience in commercialization of food innovations.
Abel Santos Saez
Mr. Abel Santos Sáez, COO of Intersnack Rajkumar Cashew Company is graduated from Salamanca University (Spain) and Bern University (Switzerland) in MSc Chemistry and holds also a MSc Marketing and Sales Management by ENAE Business School -Spain- He accumulates more than 15 years’ experience in the food manufacturing industry in the fields of Innovation, Quality and Operations gained in diverse companies (Mars, Kellogg’s, Bakkavor, Prosol and Intersnack) across different countries (Germany, UK, Spain, Netherlands and Singapore).
Sid Pathak leads Kearney’s Consumer and Retail Practice in Southeast Asia. He has over 12 years of experience advising multinationals, local businesses and PE clients in the F&B and broader FMCG space on E2E transformation including strategy formulation, commercial transformation, digital transformation and operational excellence.
As Marketing Manager of FMCG Gurus, Will Cowling is responsible for managing the day to day marketing tasks ranging from implementing campaigns, PR, to managing content on socials and the website. Understanding the business and the industry is key to providing innovative ideas and producing quality content.
Indranil is the offerings lead for IX.0, Supply Chain & Logistics for South East Asia. He brings with him substantial experience in these areas having held leadership positions with major 3PL players as well as large enterprises across multiple geographies in Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa.
Indranil Has led the digital transformation of supply chain across industries and has worked with AI/ ML based analytics and blockchain based provenance tracking as part of those transformations.
As an example, Indranil has led the strategy and transformation team and successfully implemented the supply chain / logistics transformation program for one of the world’s largest pulp and paper players. This involved substantial digital transformation elements. The program resulted in significant improvement in OTIF performance, better asset utilization and reduction in end to end supply chain costs.
Indranil has also been responsible for the development of the post-merger integration strategy and plan, led the cross functional project team and successfully
implemented the operational integration of two major logistics players in India. This resulted in achievement of synergy benefits, as envisaged in the transaction proposal. The transaction achieved full payback as planned.
Ronnie Faizal Tan
Chinese-Muslim Ronnie Faizal Tan reverted to Islam at a young age of 17. After working for 10 years, he started his own business specialising in corporate gifts. In 2006, he diversified successfully into telecommunications solutions servicing major corporate clients where he built his business acumen and foresight. In 2012, he started his journey in the halal industry.
He was the the Director of Singapore-based MyOutlets group of companies focusing exclusively on Halal food and beverages and consumer products. With this track record, experience and network, Ronnie aspires to lead the global Halal industry. He has taken a structured approach to connect with leading Halal industry participants to forge a global seamless marketplace to reach out and serve the Halal community at all corners of our planet.
Ronnie is a regular guest in international forums and conferences having shared and presented his Halal experiences. He has also been interviewed by the media and broadcasters globally. Back home, he has hosted the President of Singapore, ministers, foreign dignitaries, trade missions, universities and Muslim fraternities from the region. In 2016, Ronnie was the top Entrepreneur Award Finalists in The Singapore Malay Chamber of Commerce and MyOutlets was the top finalists for OCBC Emerging Enterprise in 2017. Kevin is a professional trained lawyer and 4x Founder in the field of: Food Technology / Alternative Protein, Furniture Retail, Legal Services and Management Consulting. Collectively his ventures has over 7 offices, retail stores and warehouses across Malaysia and Singapore. He has raised funds from corporate venture capital firms, family offices and angel investors. He has scaled businesses from start-up to growth stage ventures. Kevin is listed on Forbes 30 Under 30, Generation T by Tatler and is a regular guest speaker for Fortune 500 companies, private banking institutions, world leading business schools and various other podcasts.
Nerida Kelton is the Executive Director for the Australian Institute of Packaging (AIP), Vice President Sustainability & Save Food and the ANZ Board member for the World Packaging Organisation (WPO).
She has worked in the Packaging industry for over 23 years, is the lead for the Save Food Packaging Consortium project within the Fight Food Waste Cooperative Research Centre and was the packaging representative on the Department of Environment and Energy's National Food Waste Strategy Steering Committee.
Nerida is passionate about educating the industry on the important role that packaging plays in minimising Food Waste and how designing Save Food Packaging can make a difference. She is also one of the creators of the annual Xmas Foodbank hamper program which is designed to help those who are vulnerable and in need. The volunteer program has packed over 12,000 hampers to the value of over $1 Million AUD over the last 10 years.
Nerida is also committed to helping educate and train packaging professionals in the importance of sustainable and circular packaging design and recognising best practice in this area.
Enry Kam is Procurement Category Lead – Innovation of the Danone. Danone is a multinational food-products corporation based in Paris. He is an accomplished supply chain and procurement professional with more than 10 years of experience of distinguished performance in various FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods) Industry.

Himanshu Gupta is Head of Markets and Technology at Heineken Asia pacific. His work experience is concentrated on areas including enterprise architecture, digital & technology transformation, and modernizing the workplace. He has delivered impactful change across companies in the consumer goods, automotive, and media industry by driving end-to-end customer experiences, delivered by cross-functional teams, enabled by robust technology organizations. He has lived in 6 countries and worked in 10+ countries.
Vandana is the Head, Accelerator Operations at GROW - Southeast Asia's first dedicated agrifoodtech accelerator with an impact focus. She works with startups, corporates, researchers, and investors to accelerate the development of cutting edge agrifood technologies, products, and business models.
She speaks from her experience and knowledge as a successful banker-turned-entrepreneur and thrives on guiding and mentoring startup founders to implement innovative, practical and outcome-driven strategies.
Her work at GROW also involves building capabilities to support growth in the Singapore and ASEAN agri food ecosystem.

Nuryani Dwi Kartika
Having passion in food and nutrition has always given Kartika spirit to put the best effort to make not just healthier but also happier people. Over the past 12 years, she has experienced the field of R&D and food safety management. During the last 7 years, she has been working with Re.juve’s team for growing the first 4 stores into 71 stores and grateful the same passion has brought us here through the Covid-19 pandemic. The same passion that starts it all connecting us to the future.
Atul Tyagi is the Vice President of Global Export Sales of Industrial Packaging division at Asia Pulp and Paper (APP). He has a wide experience of 19 years in packaging industry at various positions. He spearheaded APP’s expansion into food paper packaging with a new line of products called Foopak, and currently focuses on its innovative and home compostable product called Foopak Bio Natura.
He holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from National Institute of Management, as well as a Postgraduate Degree in Pulp & Paper Technology from Indian Institute of Technology (Roorkee).
Benny Chiadarma began his career with Asia Pulp and Paper, gaining unparalleled experience in the food and beverage packaging space, while also establishing himself as a respected project manager in the company.
Currently working as a Product Manager, Foopak in APP for 3.5 years, Benny is passionate about the food service industry using the sustainable paper solution and put his effort to develop and market the product to a wider audience, not only to the converter, and to the brand owner.
Parth Patel has total 17 years of experience in Strategy, Marketing, and Sales leadership roles based out of India, UK, Switzerland, and Singapore. Previously, Parth has worked with DuPont and Johnson & Johnson Medical Devices in various positions, and in his previous role he worked as General Manager for DuPont in South West Asia.
Currently Parth is the VP Marketing – Kerry APAC, Middle East and Africa (APMEA) and is based out of Singapore. Parth has completed his Masters in Commerce from Pune University, and MBA from the London Business School.
HonMun obtained his Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University in the United States. With Fortune 500 companies like Motorola, Nokia, and Microsoft, HonMun kicked start his career in business management. After accumulating more than 15 years of experience in technology management, HonMun’s innovative mind led him to invest in the food and agriculture sector as an executive of Temasek Holdings, a pan-Asian investment firm. Since then, HonMon has been focusing on working with owners of Family Offices, Impact Venture Funds, Private Equity Funds & Companies to unlock opportunities in China and ASEAN.
In his long and fruitful career, HonMun amassed experiences in identifying real bottom-line issues, designing solutions, executing the plan, and delivering results. As an expert in post-merger & acquisition integration, business growth, and turn-around under-performing investment, HonMun’s proud moments include bringing in a quarter of a billion USD investment for a Government-to-Government JV targeting sustainable Food Production, Food Security, and Food Safety. Such achievements prove HonMun’s business acumen and agility, making him an indispensable member of the TurtleTree team.

In his capacity as the VP of Commercial of APAC, Sheng currently heads the Commercial Sales and Marketing team for Tyson Foods, overseeing the businesses in 27 markets across Asia Pacific, Europe and the Middle East. Based in Bangkok, Thailand, he has worked across multiple regions with a diverse experience ranging from FMCG, F&B as well as Food Manufacturing. Sheng has a strong understanding of consumer insights and trends and has previously been a guest speaker and moderator in other regional F&B conferences.

Edward Tan is a business development manager with over 8 years of business development experience in the raw material wholesale industry. He is a relationship-driven sales and marketing professional who nurtures strong relationships with clients.
Edward started his career in business development by working at Antik Sempurna Sdn. Bhd. as a business development executive in 2013. His role was to manage and retain relationships with existing clients. He would periodically be contacting existing and potential clients to establish rapport and arrange meetings.
Edward was later promoted to business development manager in 2016 due to his exceptional dedication in building and maintaining relationships with clients. In this role, he began to plan and oversee new marketing initiatives. He would also be researching and proposing new business opportunities and viable income streams to the management
Robert Baker is currently the Corporate Food Safety Science and Capabilities Director for Mars Incorporated, where he is responsible for leading Food Safety Capability building initiatives including the development of the corporate food safety science strategy, as well as providing Food Safety leadership, support, and consultation to various corporate partnerships and collaborations. Mr. Baker has held multiple positions of increasing scope and responsibility across his 30+ years in the area of Quality and Food Safety Management. Before his most recent position, Mr. Baker was the Director of the Mars Global Food Safety Center in Beijing, China, accountable for constructing and operating the center as well as Developing and Executing the Corporate Food Safety Science Strategy. Mr. Baker holds degrees in Microbiology, Food Science and Food Technology.
Jason Ortega is a Procurement Professional with 20 years of international experience in a variety of global and regional positions.
Before his current Nestle’ role as the Global Category Lead for Glass and Metal Packaging, Jason served in a variety of category procurement positions at Nestle’ driving significant improvements in supplier relationships, performance, sustainability, and cost improvement.
His previous roles are at leading MNC companies such as Compaq Computer, Hewlett Packard, Diageo and Nestle’. Some highlights from these include:
During his time at Diageo, Jason served as the Regional Category Manager for APAC Glass, Luxury Packaging and Indirect. He was also Head of Procurement for Diageo Greater China managing a variety of categories across all indirect spend groups and earning a nomination for Diageo’s Keep Walking award.
As part of his accountabilities as a Strategic Partner Manager at HP, Jason was relocated in 2010 to Chongqing, PRC, as the HP procurement lead for relocation project of the notebook supply chain from other regions of the country. His partners in the project included companies such as Foxconn and Quanta Computer and he also served as HP’s liaison to the Chongqing Foreign Affairs Office and a board member of the American Chamber of Commerce in SW China.
In addition to a passion for Procurement, Jason enjoys time with family, pets, food, travel and competes regionally here in Asia in team sports such as softball. He is American by birth and originally from Houston, Texas.
Simon is a highly motivated, passionate and charismatic senior business leader with over 25 years’ experience in Shopper and Category Strategy Development, Omni-Channel & Customer Leadership, Revenue Management, Orqanisational Performance and Capability Building within the Healthcare, Consumer Electronics, Retail Consulting and FMCG sectors. He also has a great passion for driving Digital Commerce Commercial Transformation covering Ecommerce, Omni-Channel digital marketing integration in FMCG organisations.
